What we collect

When you send a message through our contact form, we process the name, email address, optional company details and message that you provide. When submitting the form, we may also receive technical anti-spam and delivery information processed by the website hosting service. Website access may produce technical logs needed for hosting, security and troubleshooting.

Why and on what basis

We process enquiries to respond to your request and communicate about possible cooperation. The legal basis is generally pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or legitimate interests in handling business correspondence (Article 6(1)(f)), depending on the enquiry. Strictly necessary technical processing supports the operation and security of the website.

Recipients

The CIIDT website is hosted on Netlify. Contact form submissions may be processed through Netlify Forms and forwarded to authorized ETKM staff or its email service provider. Access is limited to what is necessary to provide the services. Where required, applicable contractual safeguards for international transfers must be checked.

Retention

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and manage the related business communication, or longer where a specific legal retention obligation applies. The precise retention schedule should be verified by ETKM before final legal approval.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
